“Transience is worshiped in the place of permanence”

Before you attempt to depict a life, it is drifting away fast. Transience is worshiped in the place of permanence. Life resembles those ‘use and throw’ flowers made in sand.

These lines are from one of the first published works of MN Vijayan named ‘Varnangalude Sangeetham’ ( Music of colors ). Though written decades earlier, these thoughts are increasingly relevant in our times when the transient nature of market influence the values of life itself.
